Active Minds

Active Minds is focused on promoting mind and body wellness. This club takes the time to share the importance of mental health and educating others on how to employ strategies for maintaining positive total body wellness. ADVISOR: Charlotte Davenport

Anime Club

To Educate its Members, Piedmont Students and the Community about Japanese Language and Culture through one of its chief media platforms, Anime. The club strives to bring Anime and Japanese Culture to the masses through our members and the events that both the College and the club holds. ADVISOR: Jeanne V. White 

Comic Book Club

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for students interested in comic books to meet other likeminded readers, discuss and analyze comic books, and socialize in a relaxed atmosphere. ADVISOR: Michael Berglund

Cycling Club

The purpose of this club is to introduce novice riders to the sport and encourage their participation in cycling on campus. They focus on helping meet rider goals, whether they be to improve performance or fitness, create a fun, safe environment for all ability levels and provide an avenue through which members can compete in USA Cycling collegiate events. ADVISOR: James Carney

Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)

The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) is an inclusive club of all racial and gender backgrounds who empowers and support our members and others in our community. Our leaders advocate, organize, and support one another and work toward healthier communities for all. We focus on providing a supportive space for Piedmont Students to share experiences, encouragement, and knowledge in relation to the health and wellbeing of members of the GSA and allies community. ADVISOR: Emily Pettit 

Klimbing Klub

Rock climbing enthusiasts are invited to participate. The purpose is to introduce beginning climbers to the hobby of rock climbing, create a safe and fun environment for testing personal limits, and provide bonding opportunities for members to come together and share similar interests. ADVISOR: Justin White

Labyrinths & Lions

The purpose of this organization is to provide students an opportunity to learn about the game Dungeons and Dragons while also providing an outlet for students to de-stress, find friends, and become more involved on campus. It will teach others teamwork, leadership skills, cultural awareness, public speaking, creative processes. Problem-solving, and basic mathematics. ADVISOR: Mark Jestel


MARS can be better knowns as the Medieval and Renaissance Society. The purpose of this organization is to educate its members about Medieval and Renaissance time periods while sculpting their own armor and supplies. 

Outdoor Club

The Outdoor Club serves to promote and engage students in outdoor activities and conservation. The club takes several excursions per semester that may include backpacking, caving, zip-lining, local waterfall hikes, and trail maintenance activities in the region.The mission is to provide a relaxed and enjoyable outdoor outlet for all students. Activities include hiking, caving, camping, and other enjoyable outdoor activities. ADVISOR: Jeff Bowers

Roaring Voices


SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) is lead by our student-athletes on campus. This organization is responsible for promoting athletic events, discussing concerns for student athletes, and creating opportunities for all students to be involved through athletics on campus. ADVISOR: Tim McCormick

Schiticks and Giggles

The purpose of Schiticks and Giggles is to perform various forms of improvisational theatre. In addition, students can have fun with performing while maintaining artistic integrity and do so at the best of their intellectual ability. The club requires an audition to become a member of the team. ADVISOR: Bill Gabelhausen
